What is it?

Reiki (pronounced "ray-kee") is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports the body's natural healing abilities. Originating in Japan, Reiki translates to "universal life energy" – the vital force that flows through all living things.

During a Reiki session, a trained practitioner gently places their hands either lightly on your body or just above it. They act as a conduit for this universal life energy, allowing it to flow where it is needed most. You may experience sensations of warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation as your body naturally balances and heals.
